Katsumi Watanabe is Professor at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of the Waseda University, Japan.
His research fields are cognitive science (perception, crossmodal interaction, sensorimotor learning, development, attention, eye movement, social cognition, decision making) and neuroscience (motivation, reward, basal ganglia, brain imaging).
Katsumi Watanabe is a Visiting Fellow at CAS LMU from August to September 2026 upon invitation of Prof. Dr. Ophelia Deroy (LMU).
